Euro Pet Transport Services
Euro Pet Transport vehicles are DEFRA compliant, and issued with a Type 2 Animal Transport Authorisation Certificate. The converted minibus cabs remain open throughout the journey to ensure your pet and their caretakers are visible to each other, as they transport your pet by road to and from the EU.
Don’t worry, as pets are never left alone during the journey, two staff members take it in turns to drive through the night.
Individual cages with water bowls and thick, fluffy veterinarian bedding are provided in their pet transport vehicles. You can choose from the following crate sizes at the time of booking:

- Large 90 x 60 x 66 cm
- Medium 75 x 52 x 58 cm
- Small 50 x 58 x 50 cm
Will My Dog be Exercised?
The Euro Pet Transport team make frequent stops for walks, playtime and cuddles! So, while your pet won’t be with you, when they’re transported by road with Euro Pet Transport, they’re in safe hands.
Regular photo updates are provided on their Facebook page during their UK, Portugal, Spain and France pet courier trips. A live tracking link will also be given to you so that you can keep a close eye on your pet’s progress on their road trip between the EU and UK. In addition, the Euro Pet Transport team will send you as many updates as possible.
Which Countries does Euro Pet Transport Serve?
A scheduled monthly service is operated by Euro Pet Transport couriers, leaving from Portugal and travelling through Spain and France to the UK, then returning to Portugal via the same route. Pet collections and deliveries are made at specified locations across the Algarve and UK. Your pet can also be collected or delivered with the Europet Transport cat, dog & other animal courier service, available in Spain or France.
The operating timetable is available months in advance on the Euro Pet Transport website, and also includes the available pick up locations in the Algarve and UK.
You’ll be provided with the entire trip plan, including delivery times, several days in advance of your pet’s travel date.
