Sevenair Airlines Pet Policy 2023

Dogs, cats and birds are accepted to fly in the cabin with Sevenair Airlines in their travel bag, up to a combined weight of 8kg.

The travel bag or kennel must meet Sevenair Airline’s specifications as outlined in their pet travel policy 2023, with maximum dimensions of 45cm long‚ 35cm wide and 25cm high‚ provided that the sum of these three dimensions doesn’t exceed 105 cm. Travel carriers for in cabin pets must meet International Air Transport Association (IATA) rules.

The pet in cabin fee is €8.10 per kg (pet + travel kennel)

Dogs and Cats in the Hold as Checked Baggage

In the hold as checked baggage, Sevenair Airline transport dogs and cats up to 14kg within an IATA approved pet travel crate.

When flying your pet in the hold with Sevenair, the travel kennel can’t exceed L 65cm x W 83cm x H 56cm.

As with other ethical, pet friendly airlines, Sevenair Airlines no longer accepts reservations to carry snub nosed (brachycephalic) cats and dogs in the hold. This restriction is due to respiratory limitations that these pets may encounter in the hold of a plane, which could ultimately put their lives at risk.

Aboard the aircraft, the Sevenair Airlines hold is a heated environment with climate and pressure control, to enable your dog to travel as comfortably as possible.

Sevenair Airlines Assistance & Service Dogs & Emotional Support Animals (ESAs)

If you’re travelling with a trained and registered Assistance or Service Dog, they can fly with you free of charge in the cabin on your Sevenair Airlines flight. It’s advisable to book in advance as Sevenair Airlines may need to limit the number of dogs that they can permit in the cabin.

As Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not trained to perform a specific task for their owner, they can’t fly under the Sevenair Airlines Assistance & Service Dog policy. ESAs must travel under the standard pet policy.
