Pets travelling on P&O Ferries Cairnryan – Larne routes
If you’re travelling with a cat, dog or ferret, you can take your pet with you free of charge on P&O Ferries Cairnryan, Scotland to Larne, Northern Ireland routes, but only if you’re travelling by car. In fact, if you’re travelling by car, you can take up to 4 pets free of charge., All pets must stay in your car while on board, and passengers sailing with pets must check in with P&O Ferries at least 45 minutes before the departure time.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any facilities for foot or coach passengers to travel with their pets. The only pets permitted on the passenger decks are registered Assistance or Service Dogs.
Cats, dogs and ferrets sailing on P&O Ferries Dover – Calais routes
You’ll be happy to hear that pets can sail for just £15 each way on P&O Ferries Dover, England to Calais, France crossings. Registered Assistance & Service Dogs, including Psychiatric Service Dogs, are welcome to travel for free. You must have a vehicle to take a pet on this route, and your cat, dog or ferret must remain inside your car at all times.
At both the Dover and Calais Ferry Terminals, you’ll discover a lovely touch from P&O Ferries with the provision of two dedicated pet areas for your furry travel buddy to stretch their paws and enjoy some playtime in the open-air. Not only that, there’s a few obstacle tasks within the exercise areas where your pooch can test their mind as well as their body!
Pets sailing on P&O Ferries Hull – Rotterdam crossings
The Hull, England to Rotterdam, Holland P&O Ferries route permits dogs and cats to travel for £17 each way. There are three dog friendly cabins on each ship which are available to foot and vehicle passengers on a pre-booked first come, first served basis. So be quick if you want to book one of P & O Ferries dog friendly cabins. Pets can’t travel in your vehicle on Hull – Rotterdam crossings.
Should the three dog friendly cabins on your chosen date be full, your pet must go in the kennels located on Deck 7 for the duration of the crossing. If you’re sailing with a pet, you must check in at least 90 minutes before departure. Once the vessel is ready for sea, you can’t visit your cat or dog until Deck 7 is opened on arrival in port the following morning.
