Praia do Carvalho is a hidden jewel on the rugged Atlantic coastline, in the Algarve, Portugal. Set in the Lagoa region, which is known for it’s small cove like beaches, with soft sands and crystal waters, Praia do Carvalho is popular with local dog owners. It’s not an official dog friendly beach in Portugal, but Praia do Carvalho tends to be less crowded than other beaches in the area, therefore dog walking isn’t normally regulated in any way.
